Watching Items

A typical BidSlayer window watching 3 items might be as follows

BidSlayer will watch as many items as you wish, and display them in order of auction end time.

The size of the BidSlayer window and it's position on the screen may be adjusted by "dragging" the borders of the window.  When the size of the window is changed BidSlayer automatically adjusts the displayed information to 'fit' the window size.  Additionally the column widths may be changed by selecting and dragging the separators between the column headers.  BidSlayer will remember any changes, therefore if you stop BidSlayer and start it again it will display as it did before it was closed.

All options available for each item are displayed if you "right click" with your mouse over an item'

Note that you can highlight items of particular interest by changing the color and/or making it 'bold'.

By default, if you double click an item, or select an item by clicking on it and hit the "Set Bid!" button then the "bidding" window will be displayed for the item.  The mouse actions may be changed in the advanced options window.

BidSlayer will also display the bidding window for an item at the "warn" time specified in the options menu.  At the same time BidSlayer will emit a warning tone (unless sounds are disabled) and display a warning message.

Note that BidSlayer will insert the minimum bid into the "your Bid" box.  You may modify the bid amount and may press the "Set bid" button to tell BidSlayer that you wish to bid at the time you have specified in the options, before the end of the auction.

When you set the bid, BidSlayer will enter your bid amount into the main display, and read bidding info from eBay.

At the set time BidSlayer will bid for you, in this case it was outbid.

If you look at the item page, then you can see there were two bids.

If you look at the bidding history (by clicking on the bids) then we can see that BidSlayer bid 19 seconds before the end of the auction, coincidentally someone else bid with a higher amount at exactly the same time.
