Time Server Utility
In order for BidSlayer to bid at the right time it needs to know the time accurately to within a second or so. To get the time BidSlayer reads the system clock on your PC. So, BidSlayer sets the clock accurately when it starts and again about every hour while running. If BidSlayer cannot set the clock for a day or two it generally doesn't matter as your PC clock should maintain the time reasonable accurately.
In order to set the PC clock BidSlayer reads the time over the internet from a timeserver. Various organisations have timeservers that they allow public access to. BidSlayer reads a list of timeservers from the BidSlayer website, accesses each one and uses thereafter the one with the best response.
Sometimes it may be necessary to manually interact with the timeserver utility.

Selecting the advanced option menu item will cause the following window to display.

Double click on Show/Don't show Time Server utility

Some timeservers are accessible from anywhere in the world but many are only accessible within a particualr region. In addition sometimes particular timeservers may not be accessible. If BidSlayer finds that the timeserver it is using is unavailable it will read the list of timeservers again and look for another.
If BidSlayer cannot find a timeserver that is accessible from your location it displays the timeserver window so that you may add an additional timeserver. A list ot pulically accessible time servers can be found by searching Google with the Keywords. "public time servers". Try servers that are geographically near to your location. Once you have found a candidate type it's name into the box on the screen hit "add new timeserver". BidSlayer will add the server to the bottom of the list and test the server. If it finds that it is accessible it will use it in the future.

If you need to add a timeserver please let me know by email at enq@bidslayer.com and I will add it to the list.
