Advanced Options

Selecting the advanced option menu item will cause the following window to display.

The options on this page are intended for experienced BidSlayer users who wish to further individualise the way that the BidSlayer user interface operates.  For most users the default options are quite satisfactory.

The Options are as follows:

Display bidding info on double click (rather than on single click)

By default the bidding info is displayed when an item is double-clicked or and item

is selected with the mouse and the "Set Bid!" button is clicked.  If this option is not selected

then as soon as an item is selected with the mouse the bidding info is displayed.

Don't automatically move cursor when selecting items

By default when the bidding info id displayed the cursor is moved to the box where you may

enter the bid amount.  If the option is selected then the cursor is not moved.

Show running update window

If this option is selected a pane will appear at the bottom of the BidSlayer window in which

messages are displayed indicating what processing is being performed.

Get Pictures if available

If this option is selected BidSlayer will read and store the first picture available for each item for display

 when bidding info is displayed.

Color Scheme

BidSlayer has the option of displaying its primary window in a  number of different colour schemes.

This drop-down list allows the user to select the desired scheme.

Show/Don't show Time Server utility

If this message is double clicked with the mouse the timerserver utility is displayed/or hidden

 depending upon its current state..
