Automatically Extract, Monitor and Display the items that you are watching in My-Ebay.

During normal operation BidSlayer periodically accesses My-Ebay and extracts all of the items that are being watched. Any new items found are added to the items already being watched by BidSlayer.

My-Ebay doesn't have very much information so BidSlayer periodically accesses each item page to get further information.

  Bid for you a few seconds before the item is due to end.

You can set the time when BidSlayer will bid to any number of seconds before the end of the Auction. Generally 15 to 20 seconds is a useful figure.

  Alert when the bidding on an item exceeds your planned bid amount.

BidSlayer will display an information pane and play a sound when the bidding on an item exceeds your planned bid amount.

  Update the 'time left' every second!, even when you are not connected to the internet.

BidSlayer continuously updates the display indicating the time left on each item.

  Alert shortly before an item is due to end.

Bidslayer will display an information pane and play a sound at the number of minutes before an item is due to end defined in the options pane. A typically useful figure is 10 minutes.

  Monitor an unlimited number of items.

BidSlayer will monitor any number of items.

  Continue monitoring items even when they have been deleted from My-Ebay.

Items are not removed from the watch list until you remove them, even if they are removed from MyEbay.

  Run automatically whenever your computer is switched on (if you wish!).

A setting in the options pane can instruct BidSlayer to set itself up to start up when you switch on your computer.

  Automatically connect/disconnect to/from the internet (if you wish!).

A setting in the options pane can instruct BidSlayer to automatically connect to and disconnect from the internet.

Note... for this to work you must not disable Internet Explorer from connecting automatically. In the Tools..Internet Options...Connections pane the option 'Never dial a connection' must not be selected.

  Allow you to easily and quickly open a Browser window on any watched item.

Open a browser window on any watched item with two clicks.

  Ensures that your Computer clock is set accurately.

Obtains the correct time from an internet time server and sets your computer clock automatically.

  Hide in the System tray until needed.

Loads an Icon in the system tray. Clicking the icon will hide bidslayer, clicking again will display bidslayer.

  Automatically detects when a newer version of BidSlayer is available.

Periodically checks the BidSlayer website and informs you if a newer version is available.

  Automatically downloads a newer version of BidSlayer when one is available.

When a new version of BidSlayer is available BidSlayer offers the option of automatically downloading the new version. Typical updates take only one or two minutes to download depending upon the speed of your computer and the speed of the internet.
